As has become the norm at Washtenaw, challenges this year were met with creativity and dedication by extraordinary staff. Our board has passed a 2008-09 budget that promises to help build the economic strength of our communities but is rife with challenges on the revenue side . . . Will the housing market maintain even the moderate growth we've predicted? . . .Will anticipated labor savings materialize without cutting our workforce? . . .
